About Me
I am a perpetual student who has learned both in school and through many diverse experiences. I have changed courses many times in my adult life’s journey that began as a stay-at-home Mom with two children. I attended Kent State University during the May 4th shootings and moved to Atlanta to attend a Summer Paralegal Program. I loved the city and decided to stay to work in four different law firms. I didn’t like being the wedge between people and decided to become a therapist. So, I went back to school again to get a Masters in Social Work.
I coordinated a Rape Crisis Program for a few years that fulfilled the social change part of my values. The constant crises got to me so, back to school, again. I got a PhD in Social Work and completed an internship at a woman’s prison that turned into an on-going consultation.
Instead of becoming a professor as planned, I opened a private practice where I continue to learn and grow with my clients. I work with adults who want to know themselves fully, live spontaneously, and more easily connect with others. I provide honest feedback, because I believe that if we can understand our patterns and make different choices, we can create a better life.
